Orten3DCam - Privacy Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to inform Orten3DCam application users about our policy on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when using our application.

Personal data from the Orten3DCam application is processed by the Proteor company in compliance with the requirements of the European Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).

By using Orten3DCam, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this document.

The terms used in this document are described in the "Terms and Definitions" section

Types of data collected

- Project name, description, photos, project recipient (Optional data)

- 3D files (3D scan or any other 3D shape generated by Orten3DCam)

Purpose of the data collected

The data collected, entered by the user from the Orten3DCam application, is the property of the user and can only be accessed by the user and the Orten service support. Orten support take action only if the user requests it

To guarantee the user permanent access to their data, we send the data to our Microsoft servers in France. Each user is able to access their data from the Orten3DCam application.

Non-disclosure of personal data

Proteor will ensure that personal data collected is not disclosed or communicated to unauthorized third parties

The recipients of the user's personal data are the user and the support members of PROTEOR's Orten service.

It will be kept until the user's account is deleted. Furthermore, PROTEOR will keep this data for 10 years after the deletion of the user's account in order to comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

TrueDepth API

For 3D scanning with the TrueDepth sensor: We use the camera and TrueDepth sensor API to collect depth and color data and generate 3D scans.

3D scanning with the TrueDepth sensor does not use face data, as that term is defined in the Apple Developer Program License ("face data" means information about human faces, e.g., face mesh data, face map data, face modeling data, face coordinates, or face landmark data, including data from an uploaded photo).

The scan data is not shared with any third party.

Scans from the scanning process are stored locally on the user's device as well as on our servers in France.

The subsequent distribution or sharing of these 3D scans from is exclusively under the control of the user.

Log data

The Orten3DCam Application collects logs containing the following data: user's device name, device version, unique device identifier, graphics component name, resources available on the device (Ram and CPU) version of the Orten3DCam application

The log data is used to provide efficient support at the user's request

Log data is exclusively intended for the support of the Orten service

Right of access, rectification and opposition

The user may access his/her data, rectify it, request its deletion or exercise his/her right to limitation or portability of the processing of his/her data. 

The user may withdraw his consent to the processing of his data at any time or object to the processing of his data.

To exercise his or her rights or for any question about the processing of his or her data via the Online Sales site, the User may contact the PROTEOR Data Protection Officer (DPO):

If the User considers, after having contacted the company Proteor, that his or her "Data Protection" rights have not been respected, he or she may submit a complaint to the authority in charge of data protection.

Terms and definitions

Application : Means the Orten3DCam software, provided by the company Proteor, downloadable from the Apple App Store application.

Device : Any device that allows access to the Orten3DCam application, such as an iPhone or iPad

Project : Means a set of data grouped together to design a device
